Sometimes you just know a session is going to be incredible from the word ‘go’. This family seemed so sure about booking a session before even speaking with me in our initial phone conversation. I can’t describe the feeling of joy and validation I have to know that my work is appreciated and valued on it’s own merit. This feeling seemed to fuel the picture perfect session that followed. It was a stunning day in an ideal setting where my new clients used to picnic as a couple and young family. The boys seemed right at home jumping over boulders and running through open fields by the lake. I have to admit, it almost felt too easy as the family was so laid back, fun-loving, and open to my every suggestion. I walked away with a rare feeling of confidence that my camera was chock full of stunning images: Yeah, I got this!

I can’t tell you how thrilled both Ron and I were with all the beautiful images you provided us. As you well know, our boys are busy and still learning to take direction, so I wasn’t sure how on earth you were going to get any pictures! But you perfectly captured their three distinct personalities and I love the way you caught multiple authentic moments, with us just being a family. They are by far, my favorite. I can’t wait to proudly display all of them at home. Thanks again!
