Baby, It’s Cold Outside | Toronto Family Lifestyle Photographer

Yeah, it’s cold.  So what?  We just move inside, turn up the thermostat, and get cozy!  Your home is the perfect setting for a family photo session.  All I need is some beautiful window light, (which happens for about ten hours every day, even in the dead of winter).  Please believe me when I say it really doesn’t matter that baby contraptions are taking up your entire living room, or that lego bricks are strewn across the kitchen floor, or that you haven’t yet installed the perfect window coverings in your bedroom.  I repeat: It doesn’t matter!!!  Do you need more reasons to believe your home is the perfect photo location? … (#1) It is your home!  It is where you spend so much of your time as a family so it really is where your memories are made, which will make your images all the more special, intimate, and true to your family life.  (#2) You may not live there forever so the session will document not only a unique time in your lives, but also the place that you once called home.  (#3) Your baby or children will likely be relaxed and at ease in their own home.  I often find that kids don’t need to ‘warm-up’ to me at all when I am invited into their everyday environment.  They are open and ready to have some fun with the camera.  And (#4) you will receive a set of gorgeous images like this …
