A Little Piece of (Boy) Heaven | Muskoka Family Lifestyle Photographer

When this family first reached out to me, they were so excited to have “finally” found a family photographer in their cottage ‘hood. They had been searching for one for the five years since they first acquired their Muskoka getaway. I knew I had to meet them when I learned about their family and the little piece of heaven they created for their two boisterous, playful boys. Get a load of this ultimate cottage playground! It is complete with a pirates “lair” treehouse, a zipline, a floating foam pad, and countless watertoys!

When I decided to bring my work to Muskoka, I dreamt of photographing a family who wanted to capture their memories at the cottage … to document the extraordinary in their everyday cottage life … to create a beautiful record of not so much what their summers look like, but rather what they FEEL like.  I’m so grateful for finding this fun-loving family who instantly understood my vision, and for launching my Muskoka photography work in this spectacular cottage setting.  To these four: I give you your captured cottage memories, at long last!
